EYEBROW LAMINATION

EYEBROW LAMINATION is a topical eyebrow styling treatment that achieves lifted and fuller looking brows with a sleek finish. It uses a three step process that includes perming, fixing and nourishing your natural eyebrow hairs. It allows the hair to relax and straighten to a smooth vertical shape. When the hair is flat against the skin it shows the whole potential length of the hair giving you a fluffy look/volume and  shows each individual hair which creates a denser brow, covering gaps or sparse areas.

Brow Lamination results will vary from client to client but in most cases the treatment last upwards 6-8 weeks. Once the brow hairs have completed their growth cycle, clients can repeat the procedure again. It is recommended to wait 6-10 weeks in between lamination appointments.

+Avoid trimming/tweezing for 4 weeks so there is lots of hair to work with

• Please take a break from any exfoliating anti-ageing/ anti acne products (retinoids, glycolics, vitamin c, AHA/ BHA, enzyme washes, serums, etc) near and around your brows area at least 2 weeks prior to your session and 2 weeks after for best healed results.

• Refrain from drinking alcohol or taking blood thinning medications 24 hours prior to your appointment.

• Any treatments such as lasers, peels, waxing, botox, tinting, etc should also take place 2 weeks prior or 2 weeks after your appointment.

• No brow serums for at least one month before.

• No Spray Tans or Self-Tanning Lotions

• Skin should be healthy and non irritated, blemish and sunburn free for best results. Your skin type & condition will greatly determine your results.

• I’d rather see your full hair growth potential when you come in to your appointment - I’ll be happy to remove any stray hairs at the studio!

• Must wait 2 weeks post brow lamination to receive permanent makeup.

• Must wait 4-6 weeks after permanent cosmetics to have brow lamination procedure.

IF YOU HAVE: PSORIASIS, ROSACEA, MELASMA, REALLY THICK, DARK, COARSE EYEBROW HAIR, TAKE MEDICATION, SUFFER FROM AUTOIMMUNE ISSUES, VERY OILY SKIN, ACNE PRONE, ENLARGED PORES ON YOUR FOREHEAD/FACE, VERY SENSITIVE/REACTIVE SKIN, ALL THESE CAN NEGATIVELY AFFECT YOUR OUTCOME. RESULTS CANNOT BE GUARANTEED.

• Keep brow hairs in place + dry/clean for 24-48 hrs  

• Avoid touching the brow area at the risk of transferring oils

• Avoid sun exposure + high temperatures

• No active skincare or exfoliant on the brow area for 72 hrs 

• After 24-48 hrs apply oil/balm/cream and brush daily 

+ NOTE: If any irritation or swelling occurs, apply a cold compress to soothe and seek medical advice. Be sure to let the technician know of any adverse reactions.
